Saying thank you is the courteous thing to do when someone does a kindness, invites you out for coffe or a meal or gives a gift. I don't know how it is in other areas but, it seems people have forgotten the manners I know they were taught growing up. How you treat others that give or serve you says a lot about you as person. My 5 year old Grand Daughter is learning about manners and she already has better manners than probably 90% of the drivers in California. Lets face it, selfishness is not very pretty. How many adults do you know that are like a selfish child? Whether it's just good karma or good manners, a thank you is so easy to give. I heard someone say the other day in a tip on how to be classy, "Get a box of thank you cards and give one when someone does something kind to you or gives you a gift. People will think you're not only nice but, very classy too." Guess what? they will remember you as well. Want someone to think kindly about you? Want to revolt against the entitlement mentality? Then send them a thank you card!
