The area I live in is generally pretty arid. It's in a valley between the urban blight of Southern California and the Southern Desert region. Fortunately, there are mountains nearby with pretty wildflowers to photograph. Depending on the amount of snow rainfall the display can be quite spectacular. Southern California deserts have a little secret too. When there is enough rainfall, the wildflower display is really special. Today's image is from an area near a microscopic village called Seven Oaks. The flowers are pretty and just make you happy.
