Recently in the US, a Democrat strategist made a callous remark about a Republican candidate's spouse and her stay at home ethic. Stay at home Moms give up a lot to stay at home and raise their children. Anyone who thinks they don't work hard doesn't have a clue. The thing is, they haven't given up anything other than a few bucks. They've gained a treasure that is worth more than all the money or gold in the world. The love, respect and devotion of their kids. Nothing can beat it. I think the stay at home Moms should be celebrated in the news and media not ridiculed by some unthinking mean spirited person. My own dear wife stayed home with our children until the youngest was off to Junior High School. While most of our friends were buying new cars and big homes with the double incomes, we invested our time money and efforts into raising them. While I have never endorsed Proctor and Gamble products, I have to say kudos to their company for this ad. Give it a watch, it's worth it.
Today's image is dedicated to the stay at home Moms out there. A lovely Amaryllis that was blooming in the yard. Ladies, my hat's off to you. The most uncelebrated group of people that do the most good for the country.
