The Lord's Prayer

As a Christian, I've read, heard and spoken the words to the Lord's Prayer many times. This scripture is from the Gospel of Luke, Chapter 11 verses 2 - 4. "Our Father which art in Heaven" is the first and second prayer thoughts expressed. "Hallowed Be Thy Name" is the third thing expressed in this guide to prayer by the Lord Jesus. Firstly, Jesus declares God to be "Our Father." Now I know a lot of us had fathers that were not good examples and maybe even horrible at being a father. My kids have told me I'm a good father but, some of the mistakes I made rearing them makes me wonder. That's not the case here, Jesus infers God as a loving and caring Father. Read the entire chapter to find out more about that. Secondly, Jesus declares God to be in Heaven. Thirdly, He makes the statement "Hallowed be Thy Name." Hallowed is to be held as sacred, something worthy of honor.

According to Webster's dictionary Hallow means:

Hallow

HAL'LOW, v.t. [L. calleo, to be able.]

1. To make holy; to consecrate; to set apart for holy or religious use. Exo 28:29. 1 Ki 8.

2. To devote to holy or religious exercises; to treat as sacred.

3. To reverence; to honor as sacred.

Here is the entire text of the passage from the King James Version.

And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

Below are some products I designed around this passage, specifically "Hallowed be Thy Name."

Take a Nap

I've read a lot about the mental and physical health benefits of napping. I must admit, I've been given more and more to napping the older I get. It seems almost necessary nowadays as I find myself waking up at the keyboard more often than I care to admit, lol... Waking up at the keyboard is probably not the best place to snooze for anyone. I just always have more work to do and don't want to give up. It would probably be better for me to just go lay down on the sofa and watch a documentary; then get up and finish my work. Bottom line, a pillow is a lot more comfy than my shoulder or the back of my office chair.

As with a lot of things I talk about, Zazzle and therefore I, offer pillows with some beautiful designs. Whether you use these pillows for napping, lumbar support or just for decorations, they are a wonderfully beautiful accent to your room. Guys, Valentine's Day is on the way. These floral designs are a great way to say "I love and treasure you!"  Thanks for looking and please consider a purchase from my store.
