Here's some more interesting facts about water. First, did you know that drinking too much water too quickly can lead to water intoxication? Water intoxication occurs when water dilutes the sodium level in the bloodstream and causes an imbalance of water in the brain. Also, water intoxication is most likely to occur during periods of intense athletic performance. Water... just think about it. We use water in almost everything we do. I was in an industry for over 30 years that cleaned up the water nobody wanted. You know, the stuff that gets flushed or runs down the drain. When you flushed you thought your troubles were over. That is provided the toilet didn't regurgitate or clog up. Well, mine started as soon as it made it's way to the plant.
Today's photo is another really nice image of a water drop held in place between two leaves by the surface tension of the water. It was maybe 1/8 of an inch in size. Enjoy!

Water
Do you ever give any thought to water? Maybe you should. The human body is roughly 70% water. Here in the Southwest, water is gold. Water is probably the only thing that will limit the number of people that can safely live here. It's finite resource. Some places are rich with it while others are very very poor. Someone jokingly said the water we drink now was strained through dinosaur kidneys or even more recently, flushed down the commode by someone else. For some interesting water facts, click here.

Everything's Rosey
I was looking through some older images Tuesday when I came across this rose from our front yard. It had some potential so set out to edit the image and the results are quite dramatic. The workflow included a vibrance and saturation boost, some more black and contrast then a crop. I added the vignette and saw this beauty emerge from a rather nice but plain image.
