Please enjoy today's creations, I work really hard to design them for my customers. They are all of the snowflake ornament variety. Please enjoy! The video has something to do with snow... :) Until next time, please have a wonderful Thanksgiving. If you think of something you're thankful about, tell me what it is, I'd love to hear about it.

Thankful
With the Thanksgiving holiday here in the USA coming up, I've been thinking a lot lately about things that I'm thankful for. The obvious things come to mind like fairly my family, my friends, good health and a place to live. Maybe what is not so obvious is things not often thought of as being something to be thankful for. For instance, I've made no secret about the fact that compared to last year my online store is not producing much in the way of sales. The thing I'm thankful about is the adversity has forced me to search for alternatives to the status quo. Learning should be a lifelong process and actually it is whether or not we realize it. The cool thing is, the Bible has a lot to say about adversity and trials. Just one verse off the top of my head is from the book of James, verses 1 and 2. "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance." Again in 1 Peter 1:6,7. "In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith--of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire--may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed." The bottom line is, adversity and challenges and yes, even problems can and will make me into a better person. Try this for a week. Write down 3 things you are thankful for leaving out things like "a new car" or "my new iPad." While you may be thankful for them material things will never completely satisfy. Think of something else. Stretch this exercise out for a month and I think it will change your life.

Acrylic Wonders
Zazzle has been carrying Acrylic awards for several months now. While I don't design awards, I do design Christmas decorations. You may ask what the heck do these have to do with each other? Well, have a look at these pictures and I think you'll see clearly what they have in common. These are produced using the AcryliPrint®HD printing process, these free-standing
awards show designs, text, and logos in vibrant clarity and brilliant
colors. I think these are perfect for your home or office. Set them on a desk, table shelf or even your dresser! Have a look and also, please enjoy the video! It has Bing Crosby and the Andrews Sisters singing "Mele Kalikimaka" Ya gotta love it!

Greetings
I did a search today on the topic "Why send Christmas cards?" The results were varied and some were quite interesting. Tradition? Fun? A record of family growth? A waste of time, paper and postage? As I said, some interesting results. For us, it's not only a tradition but it's a way to stay in touch with people we've known over the years. The short note or letters that we get are fun to read and see how we're all progressing through the adventure of life. So, if you feel obligated, habitual or festive and really DO care, I hope my cards will fill that need. If not, enjoy the video and the pictures. Don't worry, I won't think you're a Grinch.
