Subject: Sierra Nevada Through Cabin Window
This is a composite image. I used a capture of a cabin window in my local mountains near Coon Creek. Then I layered an image of the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains as viewed from near Crowley Lake behind the window. I'd love to look at this through my window every day! Subject: Smoke Bush in Joshua Tree
From a recent outing to Joshua Tree National Monument. The smoke bush is very common in the lower Mojave Desert region. Shot right after a rare winter storm, the sky had some amazing clouds and was deep blue. It's amazing to me how far you can gaze into the distance here.
